  • 2. Magic for Pre-Schoolers- Fun magic and advice on working for children 2-5 years old by David Ginn, who presents 50 of these shows yearly. You’ll learn tricks and ways of working for the under six crowd, direct from David’s new Comedy Magic for Pre-Schoolers DVD.
  • 3. Audience Participation Magic- David Ginn will share 7 comedy magic routines suitable for children and family audiences. Easy magic which allows you to mix your personality and stage character with the tricks to make FUN MAGIC & COMEDY!

  • 2. Entertaining Gospel Magic for Clowns- Want to share God’s Love through illusions? You will be amazed how easy it is to do these routines that will leave a lasting impact on congregations and audiences.
  • 3. Family Fun shows- Filled with lots of time tested contests, games and comedy magic for the entire family.

Brenda Marshall-

  • 1. Clown Ministry: Balloons to Songs- Silly songs, puppets and balloons! We will learn some fun songs to sing with kids (even if you can’t sing) and some balloon sculptures that help present the message. We will also look at basic puppetry and how to use puppets in your clown ministry programs.
  • 2. Props for Your Hospital Bag- Some days your success in the hospital can be measured by what you brought in your bag. We’ll explore a multitude of inexpensive prop ideas and give you some tools to come up with some of your own.
  • 3. Children’s Worship, Next Sunday . . . Now What? You have your assignment, you have your scripture verse or theme, now how do you develop the program using your clowning to minister to children? We will start from scratch and look at how to plan and perform in venues like Children’s Worship, Sunday School, VBS, etc.

Sue Kleinwachter-

Kevin Dewey-

  • 1. Beginner Balloon Basics- In this hands-on class Kevin will teach the basics of twisting balloons into colorful shapes. Come learn how to make a basic dog, a sword, a bee, a square knot hat and other easy designs. BRING YOUR OWN #260 BALLOONS AND A PUMP! Can be purchased in the gym.

Dave Hill-

  • 1. WS- World’s Greatest Walk Arounds- Get huge laughs using small inexpensive props and tricks. Great for strolling entertainers!
  • 2. Object Lessons with Ease- Illustrate basic Bible truths using stories and props. Great for Children’s Church, VBS or public shows. Visual and easy!
  • 3. Fun and Games with Balloons- Entertain small or large groups with interactive balloon games. NO TWISTING SKILL NEEDED. Great fun for VBS, Family Nights or Birthday Parties.

Dana Hill-

  • 1. Restaurant Performing- Easy routines, magic and comedy bits for tableside shows. A great way to meet and witness to families and maybe make a few dollars too. Ideas to get and keep these fun jobs.

Aurora Krause-

  • 1. WS- Using Body Movements and Facial Expressions in Clowning- Because energy and enthusiasm are great elements in clowning, physical movements and facial expressions are a major part of successful clowning. This class will cover how basic movements can become comedy antics such as; Waves, Handshakes, Action/Re-Actions, Exaggerations, Etc.
  • 2. Routining a Nursing Home Show- In this class we will combine lecture and demonstration in learning to prepare for and present 30 minute or 1 hour shows for a nursing home. We will cover what to include in performing for different situations; room to room, activity room or for special needs.
  • 3. Musical Routines for Audience Participation- This class will cover ways to select good audience participants of different age levels. The students will learn at least 3 musical activities/routines by demonstration and participation during class.
  • 4. Caring Clown: An Introduction- This course is designed to discuss the special art of clowning as performed in hospitals, nursing homes and for audiences with special needs. We will include discussion on compassionate humor and the comfort that comedy provides.
  • 5. Caring Clown: The Hospice Connection- There is a way to make a connection through humor in the hospice environment; a way of offering joy with a gentle approach. This class is intended for Caring Clowns, Healthcare Providers and Caregivers who may be looking for methods to use humor and compassionate laughter as pleasant distractions from illness and loneliness.

Becky Deltenre-

  • 1. Face Painting- This class will be a demonstration of how to use everyday tools to enhance your face painting. It will be informative to beginners as well as intermediate face painters.

Tony Jones-

  • 1. IMPROV! - This is a fun class where the students get involved. I will teach you to make your mind work faster in your performance and will show you 3 or 4 exercises that will help you in your shows. Learn how to get your mind working at a fast pace without a lot of practicing your skits.

Ruben Ramirez-

  • 1. Props that Rock- A demonstration of how with a few simple magic props and home modified toy instruments, you can add to your show some exciting routines and songs. Explore a whole new world of entertaining. Put on a wig and ROCK ON.
  • 2. To Contract or not to Contract? That is the Questions! - The workshop is not a legal course but an overview of questions that may need to be asked before booking a performance. The focus of the workshop is based on first hand personal experiences and knowledge of when to or not to take the job/gig/booking. Hand outs include a copy of the questions asked on interviewing a contract job. Also an overview of a rating system for repeat booking and a format retaining routines/songs/and activities used at the performance.
  • 3. Fiestas made easy- Whether it’s Cinch de Mayo or a birthday party, a Fiesta-Themed Party is fun for people of all ages and nationalities. Get in the spirit by preparing yourself. You should research the culture. Learn about the customs such as food and traditional birthday songs and music. Before the party begins, you need just a few simple steps and you too can Fiesta! You will receive a list of Spanish words, a list of artist and 10 songs to play at your fiesta, learn the history of the Piñata, and other celebration days.

John Luce-

  • 1. No One Left Behind- The goal of this class is to show you how . . . by the use of simple balloons, illusions, stories and skits to reach people of all ages with the Gospel.

Andy Anderson-

  • 1. Nuts & Bolts of Magic- This class explains why you do the moves you do as you perform a trick and discusses patter and performance.

Frances Poage-

  • 1. Entertaining Senior Citizens- The do’s and don’ts, the how to and how not top’s, the inn’s and outs of bringing laughter to the most awesome audience you will ever encounter.
  • 2. Taking Your Clown on a Mission Trip- This class will share with you my experiences of the hardships and the blessings of really performing out of your comfort zone. If you are interested in going overseas, let me share with you what I have discovered.

The Cavazos-

  • 1. Mexico- Come be inspired by the awesome, tiresome and dangerous work done in the mountains of Mexico. See what God is allowing to be done under such restrictions. What can you do to insure this mission continues?

Marsha Galindo-

  • 1. Sock Puppets- Be taught by an expert in the field of puppets. See what to do when you thought you were through with puppetry and gave your puppets away! How to entertain with your socks!
